Do you write lots of notes to attach to documents for your colleagues around the office? To send in the internal mail?

I previously used Post-It notes because I figured it was cheaper than using the company’s “with compliments” slips. But even the biggest Post-It notes can be too small sometimes.

This idea was inspired by a former colleague and I haven’t looked back since. I keep a pile of paper from wasted print jobs (non-confidential, of course) in a drawer and that wasted paper is perfect for this. Give yourself a little green tick for being good for the environment!

So here is the first ever freebie here on Smarter Admins – a printable template for A4 paper that cuts into (roughly) DL sized-notes. And you can personalise them with your details and even company logo.

I use mine so often that they sit on my main workspace – just under my computer’s monitor.
