I bought my GHD hair straightener about six years ago and it’s been without doubt the best thing I’ve ever bought to style my hair.
Even though it cost me $350!
When I had quite long hair, the GHD was great for styling my hair – especially for work – and I got compliments virtually every day from my workmates. Even now that my hair is short, I use my GHD pretty often to style my hair or just to straighten my fringe.
Now this might seem minor to a lot of people, but the cord on he GHD doesn’t kink AT ALL. Every hairdryer I’ve ever owned warps from being wrapped around the handle of the hairdryer. Then the cord snags on cupboard handles and ties itself in knots. But not the GHD! The cord on my straightener still straightens out like it’s brand new.
This week I learned that GHD is releasing the “GHD air” – a.k.a. the GHD hairdryer – in Australia on March 1st, I’m positively giddy with excitement.
Sarah from BellaSugar has done a review of the GHD air and gives it the thumbs up. From what Sarah’s written, the GHD air does a great job of drying hair quickly and with much less frizz than regular hairdryers. I’m really looking forward to hearing what hair blogger Christine from Hair Romance has to say about it!
Now just I just have to hope that my (not very old) hair dryer dies soon…!
