When did you last spent time developing your own career? Learned something new? Went on a training course?
In my experience working as an executive assistant in several companies, it’s the admin staff who usually get overlooked when it comes to opportunities for upskilling and professional learning.
Is it because we’re not particularly good at asking for these opportunities?
If you’re in Sydney, you should come along to the EA/PA Skills Forum. It’s being held 21 and 22 November at The Menzies Hotel in Sydney city. The two-day agenda has been put together with the input of actual executive and personal assistants, and who knows admins better than other admins!
The forum will feature 11 executive assistants and focus on the pressures of demanding workloads, distractions and meeting multiple deadlines.
“There is no better learning experience than hearing from the people that have been there before….Executive Assistants become better with experience & attending the Tonkin EA/PA Skills Forum provides the opportunity to witness the valuable insights that only experience can provide.”
– Yvette Burford, Executive Assistant, News Limited
As well as the two-day forum, there is a third day of workshops on November 23rd.
Why not download the flyer to take a look at the topics the forum will cover?
If a two-day forum is too long out of the office, you can also enquire about one day prices.
